What inspired this painting (that became this print):

The thing that I love best about a Jack Pine are the branches and cones hanging down like long strands of pearls or beaded necklaces. They are so ornamental in design when backlit.  I was inspired by a Jack Pine growing out of a sandy and rocky shoreline on a camping trip.
