In the winter I walk down to the frozen river and around this island with my little Luna. The sun is the warmth in colour that I crave, it's so brilliant against the blue shadows of the snow and ice and a gift to me every day. During winter, the silence feels like the deep breath of mother nature... it's quiet enough to hear that inner voice, and dark enough to appreciate every ounce of light.
